This week we will dive into shading with simple palettes and classic shadow fun starting with step by step drawing tutorials of basic forms and techniques (cross-hatching, stipling, scumbling) to achieve light and dark values.
Wednesdays 3:45-5pm,
Classes will be held January 31, February 7, 14, and 28, March 6 and 13th. We will pause classes during the February 19-23school break.
This class will be a soft introduction to fine art and will be a prerequisite for any painting, still-life or figure drawing classes offered in future semesters. We will use step-by-step tutorials, high quality paper and easy, familiar drawing materials to keep the focus on building classic techniques.
