Jacket Cut: Sharp, short-bodied matador-style crop silhouette designed to graze the high waist. Features a subtly nipped midsection, crisp padded shoulders, and clean hidden front snap closures.
Embroidery Architecture (Front): Dense, mirrored gold satin-stitch embroidery depicting dynamic fern fronds/laurel branches starting at the shoulder blades and sweeping down across the chest. Borders are framed by a thick, metallic braided cord edge with rows of hand-applied glass bugle beads cross-stitched in gold.
Embroidery Architecture (Back & Collar): A masterful symmetrical centerpiece featuring an open dahlia/sunburst flower enclosed in a beaded circular frame with scrolling baroque flourishes. Condition & Sales Terms:
Condition Rating: Sold As-Is. The black wool body remains exceptionally dark with no fading. The metallic embroidery threads retain strong luster. (Subject to minor surface linting or superficial fuzzing along high-friction arm seams typical of vintage heavy wool).
